Reasons I take part in autism acceptance/pride:

1. I want to help other autistics who struggle

2. To help show there's both positives and negatives of autism

All of my books center the experiences of disabled people. Most of them have gotten comments from nondisabled people- often *in publishing*-wondering why.

Like there has to be a narrative reason for someone to be disabled? Like we don’t comprise 26% of the population?

France has just had a review of healthcare for young trans people and it has come out entirely the opposite to Cass. But then again the personnel involved had not been specifically selected to arrive at a politically-required outcome.

I’m open about my #disabilities.

Even if you’re not #disabled, you may become so later. You might become someone’s caretaker. Human bodies degrade over time.

Advocating for disabled people is actually advocating for all people.
