The problem is people think of the Civil Rights Battle in terms of the 50s and 60s and not the 400 years of incremental work that led up to it! The Civil War. Emancipation. Reconstruction and then A GIANT LEAP BACK CALLED BLACK CODES AND JIM CROW but they kept pushing!
