'In the Restaurant,' (1907) is one of Charles Hoffbauer's most acclaimed works. It was painted in the ballroom at the then recently opened Hotel Astor in New York City. The picture was completed a few months after Hoffbauer's sixth appearance at the Paris Salon.

Had some leftover cinnamon rolls, so popped one in the microwave to warm it back up and then topped it with some good vanilla ice cream and caramel topping.

I’m at a video game competition/conference with one of the kids. It is amazing. Lots of “weirdos” (in the best way) just being themselves. This is the America I want to live in. I want people to be able to not fit in and find their own way.
