The problem w sports leagues and media conglomerates is that they are only interested in having control over their product and that blinds them from the things that would help them if they ceded a little bit of control. I’m sure WNBA leadership wishes they could kill Unrivaled.

What I dislike about articles like this is that it keeps pushing the narrative that Phee is doing this because she's trying to force some agenda about Unrivaled as a "competitor."

Unrivaled is as much a "competitor" to the WNBA as FIBA World Cup is to the NBA. It's an OFFSEASON league.
