Should we start talking about TRON Ares spoilers right here, right now?! Awaiting response from users out here.
Pinned
I was thinking that this movie will be arrived on-time for Christmas or even New Year's but Disney didn't want to rushed overnight in the midst of the Stranger Things Finale hype. Would be nice if the film dropped in time for my birthday next month, but anyways.
‘TRON: ARES’ is coming to Disney+ on January 7.

TRON went through so much time being seen as dated and hokey, only to cycle around to feeling like it's aged brilliantly. Nothing ever replaced TRON. CG never actually did the same thing TRON did. No effects blockbusters in the 43 years since have made TRON irrelevant.

One of the many interesting things about TRON's place in history is that it's so obviously one of Disney's attempts at having their own Star Wars, but it's a Disney that gave a bunch of sci-fi weirdos some money to make a thing instead of just, y'know, buying Star Wars.

I hope Tron Ares does well enough on streaming. The way it was treated by critics was horrid. Idk why we keep relying on their word for the quality of movies. They said Netflix's Cuties (a film that glorifies pedophilia) was cinematic masterpiece, while shitting on films audience members praised.

First of all, this reminds me to the current Korean entertainment industry's scandals.

Second, this mentions could either make or break the franchises call-out.

Don't think that meme would functional since TRON universe were meant to be serious unlike his last film.
As someone that witnessed Morbin Time’s incredible sound design in theatre thanks to internet, let’s do Tron Ares next.

Not sure why Leto tangentiality. Certainly something to be studied and another reason to bring back Tron.

Rings of Power is great, you're all wrong! And Tron Ares is okay too, yeah I said it.

I understand your point, even though not everyone got the taste as bad as you commented here.
This new Tron movie is astoundingly bad. Absolutely everything falls flat.
I swear you can hear Reznor getting gradually sick of it while scoring it.

80s are making a comeback in this 2020s and this image prove that their youth are never gets old.
They look ready for light cycle combat or a shampoo commercial, whichever starts first, since the game grid leaves room for volume and hold.

They should've gone with the AI bubble discussion deeply within the grid. Even though, Jared Leto's Ares works out finely enough for the Gen Z movie lovers to justify his anti-hero characteristic.
the plot of Tron: Ares is real stupid in basically every particular, but its most egregious faults are:

a) the plot hinges on one AI—and *only* one—having feelings, defined in movie as "thing you believe but can't express", and
b) the person we're expected to believe has feelings is Jared Leto

Tron: Ares is such a funny movie, because the original was just "what if you could go inside the computer and have an adventure :)" and this one is "what if programming was black magic being used to create endlessly replenishable machines of war.. and they're 80s video game themed for some reason"

So glad I did this. Really cool piece of merchandise, and the little Tron Arcade cabinet the figure came in is great.

Never assumed it was going to last forever, but hopefully they can figure out how to sell those figures on their own.

TRON: Evolution

2010 game with an excellent aesthetic. Controls are bit bit weird but you get used to it after a while. My camera is a bit wonky from time to time but it's ok. I have fun.

I don't read this long review for more than 5 minutes. Give me shorter version so I can reply the review.

Already seen it at the big screen last year! Now I'm ready for the encore (as long as you guys don't bothering me with some mess that Ares left behind off-grid)!
