To put it into perspective, another letter is a Metacognition neuropsychological report about a woman who had a head injury.

Being a holistic report, it also goes into quite a bit of detail about her career, her relationship status and her personal grief dealing with the issue.

Oh, I didn't really clarify the current state of the breach.

There's a forum that ransomware groups post on which contains a "marketplace"

"Kazu" has a forum thread up advertising the breach, the size of the breach (108GB), the number of files (428,337) and a random amount ($60K) with a deadline
Kazu, the group/individual behind the ManageMyHealth breach, has posted some samples of the data for verification and they all appear to be legitimate.

Among other things, there are test results (ie; Labtests), referral letters, patient health summaries, hospital ED summaries and other letters

Oh yeah, this is going to be WINZ Kiosk 2.0. But soooo much worse.
Back in April 2024, an FYI user sent an OIA to Shane Reti asking about any existing security reviews performed for ManageMyHealth

Shane Reti (Min. of Health) redirected the request to Health NZ who stated that the Ministry of Health undertook some reviews [around 2019] which may have included MMH

Update: I emailed the opt-out address listed on their website and got a reply. But, I never. Should. Have. Had. To. Opt. Out. I’m so tired of these tech companies & their entitlement. DoorDash putting small restaurants on their apps w/o permission, AI scraping our sites, & now this? It’s exhausting

Funny how the NSW Premier's chief of staff got out of being compelled to go to committee by arguing it would politicise the judiciary

On the exact same day NSW Parl is debating carving out judicial oversight for protests, that sure, we can trust the cops to make the right call all the time
