It’s insane how normalized physical violence is towards children. Once you see how horrid it is, it’s impossible to unsee.

There is a woman on TikTok, @cortneygetsfit, who is a 37 year old SAHM, whose husband is divorcing her. She has no income, no savings, the house isn’t even in her name.
I feel for her but I’m also exasperated bc these were not lessons our generation was supposed to have to learn in 2025.

Something I’ve noticed is since I’m not a person that generally needs to be treated with kid gloves, people tend to treat me with no gloves at all. It’s getting tiring.

Some days I think back to the most miserable moments in Basic Training, and how what would motivate me to keep going was the thought of enjoying a nice whiskey in my quiet apartment. I get to do that with my husband and dog whenever I want now. 21-year old me would be so proud of the life we built.

I would love to see like a study on the damage the word “entrepreneurship” has done to the American psyche. Bc it is surely massive. And there is a certain type of person who will fall for this. Who never questions why one would want to feel like an entrepreneur when they need a doctor.
Trump: "I want the money to go into an account for people where they buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"
