Fenris is my favourite from DA2, but overall, that game has my favourite cast of party characters in any RPG. Their flaws feel messy in a realistic, relatable way, and the fact the they're all so different makes for an absolutely incredible banter experience as you trek all around Kirkwall.

Love this thread, very insightful! DA2 is still my favourite because the companions resonate with me and indeed, it's easy to care for things that beloved companions care for.
I love the world, the city that changes, and the story works as a wonderful tragedy. Still love it to bits!

It gave me the center of his story I was missing, but wow was it uncomfortable. In a good way, maybe. I likely wouldn't have, if I hadn't been so desperate. In a way, I think DA2 had some of our best writing *because* of the timeline. It was raw, with little time to sand down the interesting parts.
