Your annual reminder that the most revealing difference between Irish and Scottish Gaelic is definitely in the words for December: Mí na Nollag (Month of Christmas) in Ireland, and An Dubhlachd (the Blackness) in Scotland. So once again may I wish you all a lovely Blackness.

Couldn’t be happier with how season one of #TraitorsIRL went. Incredible production design (not death row…), phenomenal cast, ✨SIOBHÁN✨, her outfits, Kevin, the swearing, the tae, the Irishness of it all, the gorgeous hounds, and a very satisfying ending. Worth the license fee alone. ‘Mon season 2!

Started watching Fantasy High: Freshman Year last week and it’s safe to say that @dimension20.bsky.social has *fully* moved in to my brain and has no intentions of paying rent. Found myself thinking about who the Big Bad will be while walking around a homewares store earlier. Utterly joyous TV!

Eight(ish) years ago, I was in Florida on election night, and everything felt very dark and unpleasant. The next day I went and took a walk around World Showcase and paid attention to the cultural rep program CMs interacting with guests and then things didn’t feel so dark.

The odd realisation that the weirdly laid out Tomorrowland in that recurring (or possibly just really memorable?) dream you had was actually just this area. No memory of ever having used these restrooms but I guess I must have ‘cos my subconscious slapped a tonne of neon on it and boom: dreamscape!
Amid all the mess of Disneyland's Tomorrowland, this corner might be the messiest.
Kind of 1967 Carousel Theater with the railing and staircase, kind of Innoventions from the colors, kind of Star Wars Launch Bay, with 1990s rest rooms signs and multiple pavings and ghost of Skyway.
