This birthday boy knows precisely fuck all about mobility issues, but does feel confident to gob off with shit he's imagined. It would be terrible if something were to reverse the paradigm, for example a subtle combination of velocity and brick.
One “wheelchair user” in our group of 38 did have a fold up stick but she only “needed” it when we were queuing for toilets etc and all of us then allowed her to move to the front. At all other times she was as mobile as everyone else.

My poor little NAS does not have the grunt I need and replacing it will be an expensive pain in the arse. I have a spare old PC, but the power bill will be worse than replacing the NAS. Argh.
