I hope these fears prove overblown, but right now I am extremely concerned about the Justice Department accusing state leaders of domestic terrorism because they refuse to assist racist immigration crackdowns. Seems like a prelude to something even worse. slate.com/news-and-pol...
Why Trump’s Justice Department Is Redefining Dissent as Terrorism

It seems that a few US military leaders are resigning or threatening to resign because of Trump, and they will be replaced by incompetent sycophants, which will make the situation worse. We need military leaders who will defend the constitution, not the president.

A small note: terrible things are happening in Minneapolis. But also in Saint Paul. And in the suburbs. And though most of the push is in the metro, things are happening all over the state.

I've been trying to refer to the events as happening in the Twin Cities or in Minnesota.

I am not exaggerating when I say ICE functions as a terrorist organization in the Twin Cities. The goal seems to be to harass and frighten people (the ones who are lucky enough to not be abducted, at least) and it's deeply unsettling when you learn they're in your neighborhood.

I keep seeing posts stating that ICE cannot enter your home or a private business without a judicial warrant. While that is legally correct, in reality ICE routinely violates the law by forcing their way in, often by smashing down doors, before violently assaulting people.

Trumpism is fascism.

If you are an American journalist failing to make Americans understand that YOU ARE PUTTING THE WORLD on the brink of war, you are failing to do your job.

It’s not OPINION, it is FACT. We are on the brink of war, and your government has put us here.

Period. For no reason.

Americans wear this.
