Absolutely support your thoughts. Taught at international schools for 23 years. This was often a point of discussion. Had to teach a cultural heritage unit with 6-7 year olds. Try this abstract concept with that year group! Difficult to not end up with the 4 fs: flags, fashion, food, festivals.

The abstract is interesting but so is the conclusion. It is not just about screen time but about content! What children are doing has different effects.
This paragraph is the conclusion at the end of the study.
