i haven’t touched photoshop since cs2. i know where every tool is in gimp and can wrangle a lot of capability out of it.
whenever i use affinity photo it takes me about a quarter as much time to get whatever i needed done, and that’s without the familiarity. don’t recommend gimp to professionals.

The most deluded thing Linux people do is suggest people just use GIMP.

It’s so annoying that we all have to just continually point out how rules around/between decorum and violation are applied asymmetrically to vulnerable groups versus the people who are always hassling them, and it’s extra insulting that the people in charge are trying to lol it away.

i do NOT have the time right now to implement a portion of the activitypub spec and allow people to follow my microblog on fedi. i will NOT be putting other projects aside to make this happen. i will NOT be tempted to reinvent another wheel. yet. i hope.
