"There was truth and there was untruth, and if you clung to the truth even against the whole world, you were not mad."
This story is starting to make me feel I’m going slightly mad - maybe RR overdid the gloom, but the tax rises are paying for a) the welfare U-turns b) the £10bn-plus increase in headroom c) scrapping the two child limit d) bits of other spending eg higher local gov costs 🤷🏻‍♀️

So keep signing and sharing, because we need to show MPs that there's a huge demand.

If you can read this and still think Nigel Farage would make a good Prime Minister then I think there's something seriously wrong with your character.

I need you to understand what this country feels like right now for those of us who look different. I'm sitting here, trying to plan for Saturday, make sure I don't even need to go to the corner shop for milk, like it's Christmas Day or lockdown. Why? Because I live near where Yaxley-Lennon will 1/

🚨🚨 Brave contender for speech of the year. Every word of it rings true to me.

Claude Malhuret is a proper role model for European politicians in these chaotic and existential times for Europe.

Take 8 minutes of your time and listen carefully. It is worth it.

This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

I don't think most people realise how completely our military and intelligence services are entwined with the US.

We may well need to become more independent, but it's not something that can happen overnight.
I see a lot of "no more", "isolate the US", "stand with Europe", etc. But what does that look like? Do we recall diplomatic staff and kick theirs out? Stop sharing FiVeEYes intel? NATO expulsion (no mechanism)? UN resolution? Scrap AUKUS? What form does "no more" take? What are the consequences?

AND YET... all of them are standing by to livecast any remark the Tates care to make after landing, live and in full.

My former MP still trying to put the blame for his own shortcomings on Labour.
“A former Conservative MP who lost his seat at last year’s general election has been accused of still ‘parading around as an MP’ by the leader of the House of Commons.”
Parading around as an MP after he lost his seat
An MP loses his seat, keeps the Parliament sign on his office, and blames Labour tax policy for the sign not having been removed.
