He taught bell to bell. Proud that @booker.senate.gov is my senator. “This is a moral moment. It’s not left or right, it’s right or wrong. Let's get in good trouble.”
Sen. Booker’s speech was a substantive and moral account of this moment. He did not read the phone book. He did not babble.
For 24 hours @booker.senate.gov laid out a detailed, damning, and critical narrative of truth, history, politics, morality, humanity.

What will you do?

I’ve been fixated on how these Trump moves at Columbia can domino over to k-12. Some words from me about that here in coverage of today’s faculty protest.
Fallout from Columbia capitulation fuels fears about academic freedom
The outcry comes after an announcement on Friday that Columbia will institute new rules on student protests and discipline and bring in new campus police officers with arrest powers.

Pete Buttigieg breaks down DEI for everyday folks…

“The opposite of diversity is uniformity. The opposite of equity is inequity. The opposite of inclusion is exclusion.” @petebuttigieg.bsky.social

Our problem: too many value uniformity over inclusion and they’re the ones running the government.

This president is disrupting the healthcare system. He is all but defying court orders. At some point, we're all going to have to stand up."

If you're feeling overwhelmed, it's intentional. They're calling it "flooding the zone." The intent is to overwhelm and exhaust us so we can not effectively resist. Something simple you can do right now now is to make sure to take breaks and rest.

Libraries matter more than ever now! They embody a beautiful & brilliant idea that we must never stop defending. The idea that knowledge is free & belongs to EVERYONE. We all need to support our libraries & librarians - especially when people seek to ban books & free thinking. #libraries #books
