@therealkurumi.bsky.social When I grew up in the neighborhood, CT route 172 had TWO local names: South Britain Rd and Pierce Hollow Rd. I'm not sure where it flipped, but I suspect at the spot where the slope opened out into the Hollow. The new First Selectman grew up there and could tell you.

Five years ago, we all applauded nurses, public health, and health care workers every evening for saving lives.
