I think this stuff is getting more common, people under stress tend to lash out at each other and read poor intentions when there are none, “something you said makes me feel uncomfy” suddenly becomes the (good intentioned) poster’s problem when it is the reader’s
I have been called a crypto fascist, men’s rights activist, right winger, future crypto evangelist, and now anti asexual for saying all sexually active people *should* get sti tested on some kind of regular basis (didn’t specify the interval) regardless of sexuality or relationship configuration

I’m extremely disappointed in the number of Canadians who had “influencer” accounts pretending to be Americans. You all should be ashamed of yourself, and I hope you get charged under FARA.

"In a perfect state of nature everyone would share my preference for a dense, urban, car-free environment" is a pretty idea but I think we should be forced to grapple with the possibility that many pretty ideas are not correct
Will's gotta stop with bad housing takes. Americans did not merely reveal preferences. There was concerted government action to destroy old urban housing, impose exclusionary zoning on new construction, plus massive subsidies for highways and individual mortgages that gave us SFH sprawl.
