Beat Legends: Z-A in just under 40 hours (binged it over three days and completed most side content before the end.)

I'll put something up (a thread or maybe an article) about my thoughts in a day or two. But overall, I had a blast with the game, even if it still has the modern Pokémon struggles.

Internet and publishing issues aside, I got the chance to review the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X over the last week and decided to take the angle of casually daily driving it out of the box.

I really enjoyed my time with the system, despite some clear issues.

Unfortunately, Will is right on the latter too.

It feels like the only path is finding stability elsewhere and keeping active in the space via hobby work or some small gigs. Which feels like a slap in the face to accept…

No matter how good the pitch or even if you have some connections, the competition is so much tougher now and there are only a handful of meaningful spots left taking work.

That review, which is also live on my site, was the last thing I was assigned at Esports on SI before it went under, so it was kind of a last minute thing to salvage.

It sucks that it couldn't go up over there, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
