Anyone who was paying attention during Gamergate recognizes these tactics.

This pretty much captures the contradictions of the politics of Kirk and Turning Point: Of course we oppose doxxing and violence, but we will absolutely use inflammatory language, false claims, and enemies list that fuels threats and intimidation.

Several days after publishing the petition calling for Dr. Bray’s dismissal from Rutgers, the Turning Point USA chapter added an update saying that it did not support harassment or the doxxing of him or anyone else.

“I think that all death threats and doxxing are unjustified and not how political disputes should be resolved in civilized society,” Ava Kwan, a Turning Point USA chapter member, said in an email on Wednesday.
But she defended the broader point of the petition, saying, “I think Dr. Antifa, who believes in violence as a political tool, should be fired, of course. Taxpayer money should not fund the salaries of terrorists.”

For years, Turning Point USA has maintained a watch-list of hundreds of professors whom the group accuses of advancing leftist propaganda in the classroom. Dr. Bray is on the list.

CEOs were paid 281x as much as a typical worker in 2024.

The Trump-Republican big ugly bill not only cut taxes for CEOs, it also included a tax break that allows corporations to write off the cost of private jets faster.

Is it any wonder why so many think the system is rigged?

I totally feel this. I have major fundamental attribution error on the road. I assume the old white guy driving a pick-up in the city is a MAGAt driving that way because they’re selfish and don’t care about anyone else. Working on that error in therapy, tbh.

1/ A 9th Circuit panel with 2 Trump appointees (Bade, Nelson) just entered an administrative stay of Judge Immergut's FIRST TRO issued 10/4.

In the circumstances here, granting an administrative stay will best preserve the status quo. Prior to the October 4 temporary restraining order, Oregon National Guard members had been federalized but not deployed. The Memorandum authorized federalization of the Oregon National Guard members. An administrative stay of the October 4 temporary restraining order will maintain the federalization of Oregon National Guard members, because that order prohibits implementation of the Memorandum. Additionally, the second temporary restraining order has not been challenged or appealed, and it prohibits the deployment of National Guard members in Oregon. Thus, the effect of granting an administrative stay preserves the status quo in which National Guard members have been federalized but not deployed. Administrative Stay GRANTED.
