So after exactly 5 years on the job, MTG will be getting a more than livable salary (particularly in the south) to do nothing. And she won’t do nothing- she’ll keep grifting on top of her “retirement.”
There’s no more reason for salaries for life. Much less for these millionaires.

The attacks made on women without children (whether intentionally child free like me or women who had fertility issues) during the campaign made me absolutely furious. Educating myself since then, I see it not just as misogyny and control but as a paradigmatic scheme they’re trying to impose.
I wrote about "Quiet, Piggy," natalist movements, the denigration of women in authoritarian societies, the ways that women were treated not so long ago in the workplace (including me), and how you can push back against all that.

Such classic gaslighting it's an instructive moment. The question is not whether generic is better or worse, it's that a list with more expensive brand names is not the same as a list with cheaper generics. Perverting that truth into an attack on those calling it out is Manipulation 101.

Another classic #LSAT flaw! Lack of evidence does not mean the opposite is true. It’s also demanding scientists prove a negative - if there’s no evidence FOR the causation, there’s no causation. (Prove you didn’t rob a bank. You’ll have to rule out the possibility that you did. Good luck…)
This is completely disgusting. Today, the CDC updated their vaccine safety page. It now says:
“The claim "vaccines do not cause autism" is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism”.
