Ahhhh, a fresh install of Windows to close out 2025 and I'm once again installing Photoshop CS6 because it's still the best version. And weirdly paying $7,020 in subscription fees would not in fact have been worth it

Sudden flashback to demo reels all being on DVDs, you'd even give them fancy packaging. I always wanted to put mine in tin cans but that would have added like $5 to each of them.
Remember when we had entire software packages dedicated to making fancy DVD menus? I remember. I'll remember for all of us.

It smells like wood smoke outside tonight, which brings me right back to living in the Comox Valley, a gorgeous area with one of the lowest air quality levels in Canada thanks to all the homes heated by wood stoves. It was lovely.

You can like or dislike fireworks, enjoy the post-show exodus from downtown or abhor the crowds, but the Celebration of Light is probably the biggest event that celebrates Vancouver's Vancouverness.

So, this is the game I'm art lead on. It's a very fun and wild project to work on: our biggest game by far in terms of complexity, but also in terms of space to grow. My goal is to build a world that you will really want to visit!

This is dope and I'm taking notes
We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

Today is the Transgender Day of Remembrance. Trans people have literally always been here; every time I see someone sneering "oh but there were no trans people when I was in high school," well. I dated a trans girl in high school, and was close friends with a trans guy.
