I think I'm mostly done with the trees now. Kaido Genkai looks a lot more lush, and I fixed some performance issues that resulted from using Material Billboards (rotating all the sprites at a material level instead now - way less expensive).

DRIV3R doesn't have vehicle AI in any of its missions. When you're chasing someone in a car the game plays back the same pre recorded movement.
However, in the third mission, the devs recorded an alternate route if you block the path of Baccus' car before he tries to escape.

Might be a Linux issue but upscaling cannot be turned off leading to horrible visual noise on roads and car paint. Frame pacing is sickening its damn near close to Perfect Dark N64 in Hi Def mode.
I also swear frame generation is forced on at 60 as well due to the ghosting and input lag.

Played a bit of PGR4 and it has the most impressive recreation of a city I've seen to date, a sizeable chunk in a 1:1 scale with every building present and seemingly bespokely textured based on the actual photos of real buildings down to bunch of small signs they made 3D, unbelievable time capsule
