COVID killed >100,000 people per year over the course of 2023 and 2024 in the US alone.

The level of indifference to this massive annual toll among both the public and the majority of my public health colleagues is stunning.

COVID is one of the most insidious viruses we have ever experienced.
COVID is the most ignored and lied about serious virus.
COVID sequelae, will and is, decimating the world’s population.
This is already past the point of no return.
Governments are well aware of this.

Rather than try to stop outbreaks of measles, pertussis and flu, MAHA endangers us all by selfishly stirring pandemic rage because they had to wear a mask.

This is insanity.
Good example of how manufactured rage over COVID mitigation measures is being used by lying frauds as a pretext for their purges and vandalism.

Look at this chart and remember:

1) the COVID immune damage claim is that after a COVID infection, influenza gets worse

vs

2) the "immunity debt" claim is that after a bad influenza season, influenza gets better

Now look at how 2022-23 compares to previous years, and ask "Which claim was right?"
Why not both? Bad flu strain and population-level immune dysfunction from mass, repeat COVID infection.

#MaskUp and get vaxxed indeed!

P.S. We are at 29,099 cases already this year as of Dec 19.

P.P.S. Chart also shows spreading flu is a choice 🤬

Look, if you're willing to concede that masking in health care settings is reasonable, then masking outside of such settings is hardly zealotry, since respiratory pathogens and the people vulnerable to them exist outside of health care settings, too.
It’s not a refusal to re-enter society.

It’s not shaping your life around Covid avoidance.

It’s adaptation. It’s a desire to protect health. It’s being willing to accept that things change, and masking & clean air are the way forward.

Mass death & disability is not normal

Wear an ffp2 respirator
Open windows
Clean the air

So calling BS on those saying the public doesn’t want masks. They never tried the correct ones! www.youtube.com/watch?v=kX9t...

Yesterday I had a letter from my hospital informing me that once again they are moving my appointment on another few months. All of this is due to backlogs caused by poor infection control. Not only is healthcare unsafe for clinically vulnerable & all because we don’t have mitigations for airborne 🧵

COVID is NOT primarily a respiratory disease.

It is a systemic vascular-immune disease causing endothelial injury, microvascular thrombosis, and immune dysregulation. This is concerning because the injury is cumulative with each infection(endothelium does not easily regenerate).

Timely and relevant study reconfirming that the healthcare workers that medical leadership is sacrificing to cover up their own mistakes are at elevated risk of long COVID.

If selling them out isn't corruption, what is? Is money the only thing that warrants protection?

It's not like there's any ambiguity about the fact hospital staff should be wearing at least N95-level mitigations.

If there's a problem, it's management's job to find a solution that provides equal or better protection for workers and the public.

There's no Westray exemption for "don't wanna".
That is the baseline. N95s are specified for diseases like COVID in the relevant standard (CAN/CSA-Z94.4-18), which preceded the pandemic. Infection control docs just grabbed power and ignored it, Trump-style.

When COVID hit it was immediately classed as Risk Group 3. Put R3 (or R2) in here:
Respirator Selection Tool
This tool is for the selection of respirators for protection from bioaerosols and is for use in conjunction with CSA Z94.4, Selection, use, and care of respirators.
