People can’t afford rent or groceries and the federal minimum wage is still $7.25/hour.

That is a slap in the face.

If you work full-time, your paycheck should be enough to live on. Anything less is a failure to uphold the social contract.

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office.
2) Elected officials rewrite the rules in the donors' favor.
3) Donors make a huge profit.
4) Repeat.
