The number of tiny children occupying the first class pods on my flight… while I got switched to a non-reclining seat on this red eye… this is my Grinch origin story. My one Christmas wish is finally a redistribution of wealth!

My TV choices inspired this brilliant insight by Patrick in the moment, and I’m so glad he has put it into print for all of you.
pigpens parents need to have their child taken away from them. he should not be living in squalor like this.

Exclusive. WELL! It was nice being in this biz for as long as I have been.
Does this mean that the Oscars broadcast won’t be eligible for Emmys anymore? ;)
LOS ANGELES, CA – The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and YouTube signed a multi-year deal that will give YouTube the exclusive global rights to the Oscars®, beginning in 2029 with the 101st Oscars ceremony and running through 2033.

The Academy took the biggest check.

Thank you @rianjohnson.bsky.social, utter brilliance. I will always love the prequels best because I’m a psycho but this is my next fav of all the films. Operating on another frequency.

Netflix does not need WBD. They don’t need more movies and tv shows, and they don’t better movies and tv shows, since they are the dominant longform streaming platform as is. What they are doing is taking out a competitor, and killing licensing options for their other competitors. Fuck. That. Shit.

Where is Megan Ellison? Does she have any billions left to at least save HBO?

Unions, make your voices heard. I know for a fact that you were so loud at Netflix HQ during the strikes that you annoyed the shit out of the employees in the office, so let them hear it again.
All media mergers end up hurting writers, actors, directors, and everyone else who works in the industry. Executives, assistants, caterers, teamsters, everyone. Fewer companies means fewer jobs, period.

Netflix gobbling up WB+HBO was the worst case scenario and I’m devastated. Truly, heartbroken and yeah I’m fucking crying right now thinking about what’s to come. I hope every politician blocks the fuck out of this.

Inconvenient: my TV died, and in the middle of watching The Chair Company finale.
Convenient: this happened on Cyber Monday eve, so at least I’m getting a good deal on a new one today.

My skin looks amazing in Iceland (because of the cloudiness and dim hygge lighting).

Iceland has a Joe & The Juice themed gas station and the lights are all pink, and their radio station just played The Cranberries and Bjork. Good morning from a cool fun country!

I got to see this on the big screen and it killed. A hilariously wild story, watch it!
My friend Dan Perlman made this short doc about being hired to impersonate Michael Bublé at a party and it’s so funny and good. (And my other friend Charlotte produced it!!!)

Oh my goodness my movie is getting into the literal hands of people several days ahead of the release date and I’m thrilled!!! (I produced I’m “George Lucas” not Radioland Murders) (can you imagine)
These arrived earlier than expected! I've canceled all my plans for the rest of the day, let's see how many commentary tracks I can get through in one sitting.

Last night I witnessed a comedy set that used the score from Annihilation, and I don’t know the last time I experienced a more perfect intersection of my interests.

I repeat.
Okay now that we have mayor on lock can we get Brad Lander and AOC to knock Schumer and Gillibrand out of their seats? Enough is enough.

Unintentionally intersected with The Running Man premiere while double featuring Die My Love and Sentimental Value. Between movies I walked past Francesca Scorsese, whose father produced the first movie, and Cat Cohen, who is in the second. Life amusements!

I went to a screening of Vice 7 years ago with @patrickcotnoir.bsky.social, and that was the last time I ever thought about Dick Cheney (or that lame movie) (sorry Adam McKay, I love your other work!). BYE BITCH.
November 4, 2025 at 4:00 PM
Let me honor Josh’s request: fuck Cuomo and Adams, two loser turds that the history books/pdfs will mock till the end of humanity. Bye bitches! Just voted for Zohran and feeling fucking awesome!!
Let's all allow Dick Cheney's peaceful passing at the ripe old age of 84 to remind us of the importance and joy of speaking ill of the dead when the dead were assholes.

HAHAHA
Guess I’ll be spending the day listening to some Dick Cheney albums.
