I just wish that Brad would go & talk to Neil & Susan. He won't. Obviously. But I want a sort of George-Early-Warning-System, led by them. Because Emma will never tackle what is clearly coming.

I totally understand this decision but as a dedicated reader who subscribes to both print & online, I'm sad. The print edition is what I get excited for each Friday, knowing that I'll have 'reading on the bus' material for the next few days.

A sad day: another trade magazine abandoning its weekly print publication, in this case after nearly 145 years.

It might surprise the vile Badenoch to learn that disabled people also vote. Many of us also worked for decades, our entire adult life before and during the early years of disability until we became too sick . So take your spiteful rhetoric and **** off.

Having had a fantastic time yesterday, looking at what needs adapting with Loughborough Town Hall's Cinderella to make it suitable for the #RelaxedPerformance, I am more and more excited for it to come round!
2nd Jan, 5.30pm.
Perfect for anyone with additional sensory needs.

And I had an excellent time at #Cinderella this morning. One of the things I love most about adapting productions for #RelaxedPerformances is the discussion with the director & producers around 'problems'. A particularly interesting practical issue with this one that has really got us all thinking!

Absolutely loved Wicked: For Good this evening. A really captivating film. Possibly a bit longer than it needed to be, but we both really enjoyed it.

Anyone moaning about this doesn't travel. It's becoming the norm in a lot of cities. It contributes to local amenities for the people who actually live in these places which we fleetingly visit. I had no problem paying it when I was charged in Rome.

Councils are under severe financial pressure, with social care & SEND crises stretching budgets to breaking point. Central gov must fix local funding. Putting all services under single councils without reversing cuts from previous govts puts services like leisure & environmental initiatives at risk.

It'll be good to have a morning focusing on accessibility for people with ASD & LD.
The last few days & today have been mainly working on issues around Visual Impairment & accessibility.

Loooooong day today. And an early start tomorrow. But extremely happy that the early start is off to see Cinderella to plan my adaptations for it's #RelaxedPerformance
And then Tom & I are out seeing Wicked For Good in the evening.

Had a fascinating & immensely fun session of All In Leicester, looking at the accessibility of the new galleries at New Walk Museum & checking a new interactive Living Portrait installation for accessibility.

Definitely having One Of Those Days. Tom hospital appt #1 just finished. Hospital appt #2 starts in 15mins. Then PA collects him to take him to his Social Care whilst I dash to work. Then I have an All In Leicester review later this afternoon.

There won't be enough gin in the world by this evening!

This is who she was.
Passionate in her beliefs. Fiercely loyal to her friends. Never afraid to let you know exactly where she stood. The best.

Fun Fact: I remember arguing with her over which of us hated Piggy the most. I was sure I did. She disagreed. It remains unresolved...
Carrie Fisher was the blueprint.

I see Monsieur #Farage is speaking to Welsh farmers tonight. Funny that. You'd have thought it would be the Reform leader in Wales's job, but I believe he's otherwise engaged just now...

Still, it'll give little Nigel the chance to rummage in his 'dressing up as a farmer' box again, eh? 😂
