Funny how that happens. My MIL has ALS and my 6yo has watched her go from able-bodied to very much not so. She now gets legit outraged walking around where there's no cut-out or things are hard to navigate: "What? What would Nana do if she were here!" It's cute and also pretty inspiring actually

I have a disabled-by-age acquaintance in Canada who is trapped in her apt because she can't wrestle with the automatic door closer while using her mobility aid.... City & Fire department back up the landlord!

Whenever I visit Montreal I’m struck by how non-accessible the city is, for the most part.
I live in Toronto and a lot of transit propel love to romanticize the Montreal metro in comparison to Toronto‘s subway but in terms of accessibility it’s night and day between them
