Still no decision from a federal judge on deploying troops to Portland. Meanwhile, protesters at the ICE facility are getting tear gassed by federal agents in broad daylight.
Court is adjourned but no decision was immediately made. Judge says she hopes to issue a decision later today or tomorrow. More soon.

Took me a few days to get back out for a run in Prospect Park.
Muscles a little stiff, but soul restored as usual. Sappy as it is, somehow every time I still feel verklempt w/gratitude for Olmsted & Vaux & @nycparks.bsky.social & the Alliance & the fact that we can do things like this. 🤷🏻♂️
