They are aware that Russians quite literally wrote the capitulation document that some people in the White House and sadly many people in the media refer to as a peace plan.
Congressional Republicans including Senator Mitch McConnell are openly blasting President Trump’s team of appeasing Russia, warning that doing so would not lead to lasting peace.

Could there be anything stupider than the US unilaterally cutting the remaining supplies of its weapons to Ukraine, and then Trump a day later asking Putin to agree a ceasefire?

Trump is starving Ukraine of some vital defensive systems. Again, it needs to be said, the US government is now acting in such a way that it is helping the Russians kill Ukrainians.
😡🇺🇦🇺🇸 Zelensky: "We agreed with the previous US presidential administration to transfer 20,000 missiles to Ukraine to fight Shaheds. It was an inexpensive and special technology. We were counting on them. But the US now decided to transfer these missiles to the Middle East."

Har skrevet i @nettavisen.no:

Nettavisen, Gjengangeren og NRK har avslørt at et av Forsvarets kommunikasjonssystem delvis er utviklet i St. Petersburg.

Trump is admitting two things here. The first is that he has been serving Russian interests by protecting Putin on numerous occasions. The second is that Trump is feeling pressure to be harder on Russia, which he really doesn’t want to do.
Response: keep up the pressure!

People still don't get it--European leaders are saying that they are "stunned" at Trump's behavior yesterday and that he seemed to be fooled by Putin. Its all nonsense. Trump knows exactly what he is doing--which is working with and helping Putin.

While claiming to seek peace, Russia launched a deadly airstrike on Kyiv.

This isn't a pursuit of peace, it’s a mockery of it.

The real obstacle is not Ukraine but Russia, whose war aims have not changed.

OK, sent out this free piece on the details of the Trump "final" plan for Ukraine that has been seen by Axios. The 5 points have basically been dictated by Putin. They set up a process which would allow Russia to expand into all of its neighbors.

With Trump’s trade war threatening to leave Norway in the crossfire of US-EU sanctions, Norway is facing a similar moment of truth about EU membership as Finland and Sweden did with regard to NATO 3 years earlier.

I argue that it’s time to make it official - for a strong Norden in the EU
To join or not to join? Norway is edging closer to the EU
Trump’s trade war has brought Norway even closer to the EU and increased the urgency for it to make a decision about membership.

Europe needs to understand that the way Trump is treating Ukraine over the new mineral deal (trying to rob them blind but give Ukr no security) is how he will deal with Europe as a whole if he sees them as weak. The only way to deal with Trump is defiance--not bridge building.
