I seem to do Bluesky in fits and starts; I can't quite commit to posting every day. Well, whatever. It's not my job or anything. ;)

That said--I hit 6 weeks smoke-free on Saturday, which is a pretty big milestone, and I wanted to share. I've been slowly feeling better, but it's still a struggle.

Arguably, water isn’t wet - wetness is the ability of a liquid to stick to the surface of a solid.

This is definitely me, much of the time.
Loquacious [loh-KWAY-shuhs]
(adj.)
- Characterized by excessive speech; wordy.
- Overly talkative; prone to babblement.

Used in a sentence:
“Little leaves me as livid as a loquacious Luddite who lacks learning and loves the labyrinth of ludicrously lowbrow legerdemain.”

- if ducks were larger, they would destroy you

i think it is important to say that the open and explicit racism of the president and the vice president isn’t just uncouth or “controversial” but a direct attack on tens of millions of americans and a dereliction of their duty to represent the entire country

My weekly Tarot reading. Been working with the Thoth Tarot lately. (Thoth isn't really meant to have reversed interpretations so I never reverse the cards.) Mostly I wanted to show the cat; she ignores my yarn but tries to lie on my cards. Figures. She *is* a very witchy cat, born on April 30!

Also I wanted to show off my crochet hook, which I got from yarndragon.com at their spot in Pike Place Market. Unfortunately my dog got at the handle, but it's still very comfy in the hand. It's also a whole set!

Trump has deployed active military to help round up migrants and put them into detention camps.

The military forced us out of our homes at gunpoint in 1942 because we were considered possibly disloyal Americans. They sent us to internment camps for four years.

History is repeating. Pay attention.

The first step of being an artist is consuming art. If you want to design games, you have to play games. You have to read games. You even have to, heaven's forefend, talk about games.
