I think in these times it's never been more important to know the difference between the new shiny thing and something real.

A return to the good ol' days of quiet, market-tested, White-Christian Nationalist policy that gets a good ol' fashioned vote! Like in Reagan's time!🙄
I’ve seen a bunch of responses to the Draper profile of MTG complaining about her pushing ahead a bill that restricts gender-affirming care for minors. This is a misunderstanding of what she’s doing. www.thebulwark.com/p/why-marjor...

This is MTG'w bill. She personally authored. It's happening now, not in the past.

Spare me her redemption arc.

Thank goodness David Harbour has burned so much goodwill that we know who's going to die at the end of Stranger Things.

Mark Cuban thinks he's one of the good guys but the good guys are the ones thinking outside the box and Mark Cuban is just trying to make the box work for everyone.
With all due respect Martha , if you want the community to survive , how will they pay their bills ? How will employees be paid a living wage ? What about their healthcare ?

How is bluesky going to survive ?

Take a break from being a shithead, Will.
Turning campaigns into mutual aid hubs isn’t good for campaigns or mutual aid! Your campaign manager should be entirely too busy to schlep around 5600 tampons!

The Katie Holmes Day episode of AP Bio remains one of the best episodes of holiday TV.

The penny has been abolished, Mark.
Checkmate.
Merry Christmas.
If you take every penny every billionaire has, it wouldn’t pay for 1 yr of expenses

The annual interest on the national debt is about 1 trillion dollars.

The annual cost of healthcare is 4T after admin. Then get rid of the military budget.

4T a year in expenses.

Then what ?
I can never understand how heartless billionaires are. All we are asking is you all pay your share to help your fellow man have a better quality of life. "Greed is a bottomless pit which exhausts the person in an endless effort to satisfy the need without ever reaching satisfaction." Erich Fromm

Very disappointed by Pluribus. Two episodes in and there has only been one bus, and it was only on screen for a few seconds.

Shocked by the awful death of Rob Reiner. I spoke with him for over an hour last night. We talked about his work and his plans for the future. I always enjoyed his company. We met at his Dad's in 1975. Last thing he said to me was "See you next year.." Such a terrible end. Such a sweet man.

In a better world, The Duffer Brothers used "Wuthering Heights" and now there are a bunch of kids in my son's preschool unironically named Cathy and Heathcliff.

Or, hear me out, quick game of Heads-Up Seven-Up.
When Trump nods off in cabinet meetings everyone is else should just put their heads down and pretend it’s in the agenda.

At this point there's literally nothing to lose. It won't cost you your job and if it does you'll get so many more jobs.
This nation would be a better place if just one White House reporter had the courage to ask "what the hell are you rambling about, old man?"

I understand that shame was perverted into a tool to hurt people and punch down, but we really should start embracing the idea of shame as conscious and start getting real Jiminy Cricket in people's faces.

The President of the United States just called for Democratic members of Congress to be executed. "HANG THEM", he posted.

If you're a person of influence in this country and you haven't picked a side, maybe now would be the time to pick a fucking side.
