Here's the big secret: There's a paucity of real friendship, love, caring, and mutual respect in the world. Once you know that, hanging out with cold, stupid, shallow people who have very little to offer except being a body in the room loses all its appeal.

The idiots who bang on my walls constantly are never alone. They always have a big group of friends over, all night and all day. It's like they're scared to be alone, or something. I've never seen anyone flock together for safety like that since watching feeder mice in a snake's cage.
