Non-consensual image creation / "deep-fake porn" has been a problem for a while that the legal system has only just begun to grapple with but part of what makes the Grok thing much worse is that it's delivered instantly & directly into replies to punish women for publicly speaking or even existing.
X basically industrialized the creation of fake porn of women who don't consent. Others did it first, but Grok made it normalized and centralized: publicly visible, instantly creatable by anyone, regardless of who's being targeted and dehumanized. Only question now is will X suffer any consequences

Important to remember that this kind of discourse about “women’s safety” is not about women’s dignity or access to full participation in public life, but about enforcing white women’s status as a kind of collective racial property of white men.
Misogyny (framing itself as a desire to 'protect' women from violent, racially-othered men) is a hallmark of fascist political cultures. It also taps into the long history of lynching in the US which was almost always justified with lies about Black men's sexual violence against white women.

Honestly this. The idea that women are oppressed because we are weak, and that this is inherent to our biology, underpins "Gender Critical" thought. It's definitively anti feminist.
What I find outrageously antifeminist about all this is the notion that the only reason any woman would find herself violated by men and unable to defend herself is not having the literal physical prowess to defend herself.
