ICE is trying to deport Native American people to Mexico. This one from the Mescalero Apache Tribe.

That's right. People indigenous to the United States, tribal members. ICE is trying to remove them from the US.

This is the second verified incident I've heard about.

We were here 1st.

You need this. Yeah, you, you need this.
I feel like I haven't talked about this enough.
Matthew Mitchell and I co-wrote this occult dying earth fantasy novelette which is currently in pre-order from Weirdpunk.
A single print run of 180 numbered copies this is the only way they will be available. Half have sold.

Histories of Mgo was important and one of my favorites of '24. Edwin Callihan's follow up novella, Strange Spells, from @filthyloot.bsky.social threatens to be just as special and loved.

I really enjoyed this story and a had a blast with the writing and chances taken. Give it a whirl if you're able. And that Jake Kelly cover? Gorgeous stuff throughout.
Please everyone buy 1000 copies of my sword-and-sorcery/dark fantasy novella, Hurled Headlong Flaming, so that I can make both responsible and irresponsible purchases — incredible cover art by Jake Kelly a.co/d/fCOYebU

Are there standard presents for book birthdays like an anniversary? I think we should start, I'm thinking Year One is poppers.
CHAINDEVILS, my debut novella, just celebrated its first birthday-- if y'all like guts, drugs, and sex with a side of cosmic rural folk-tale, pick up a copy over at Weirdpunk Books!

At the behest of @bustermoody.bsky.social I picked up The Road, GNized by Manu Larcenet. I'm grateful I did, partly because of this panel. Oof, that's beautiful.

This is a super rad solo RPG. Buying it not only ensures your doom but Chris's eyesight. So, win - win.
Literally though if ten people buy The Wretched RIGHT NOW I can get new glasses tomorrow. How good is that? That's like magic.

Everyone, The Dark continues to be one of the best series coming out. This short is no exception and you can check it out for free tomorrow. While you're there, buy some work if you're able. If not, shout from your closest corner how he's one of the best cartoonists working today.
I keep saying I'm coming over here now and then not. So here's something cool!

Guess what? The lettering on THE DARK: SPIDER! Which means I'm sending out PDF's to friends, "pro's", reviewers!

Let me know if you wanna take a look ahead of it going up on my site on Wednesday... For free!

This used to be true of a lot of writers, too. Lester Dent, who wrote most of the Doc Savage pulps, was paid around $750 per story. That’s almost $15K in today’s money.

It's good to see Ol Pizzahead is just repackaging neg reviews of True Detective S4. Much like he did all of the writing for S1. He's a plagiarizing hack is what I'm saying.

I really want to see comics twitter rebuild itself here.
If you think of yourself as part of that world- whether that means creative, editorial, marketing, retail, library, academia, journalism, criticism, active fan- reply with a "yo" so the funnybook people can find you. RTs help, too!
