This was easily the fastest I've gone from being excited for a game to skeptical and even disinterested.
(Like yeah, I realize it's totally "the CEO said we had to", but then one wonders how much of the creative process did it taint, where else was it snuck in, etc.)

DA2 remains my favourite game of the franchise, if I set aside I Worked On That bias about Veilguard, and this is why. It feels so different and raw and personal - like no fantasy RPG I'd played before and probably since.

This might be a heavy post but it’s amazingly horrifying what repeated abuse does to you. Just how quickly you lose sight of yourself & everything that brought you joy, how you go on autopilot just to survive, how they destroy everything around you slowly over time, how your creativity dries up

one of the worst things to ever happen is to have an ex friend find a way to contact you after they'd been blocked for years
and for them to just act like nothing happened and everything is cool
