Toho's first color kaiju flick and it's a banger.
Rodan (1956) Dir. Ishirō Honda —Proof that Toho didn’t need Godzilla to deliver the goods and aside from the big green guy, this is one of my favorite kaiju films. A color extravaganza with terrific destruction and eerie atmosphere. The flying sequences still thrill . Unexpectedly emotional📽️🎞️

Arnold was the best, man. He was the king of this kind of stuff.
There are some really great one-liners in 80s action movies, but it's a rare case where we get a set-up, a callback, a payoff, AND a coda.

Godzilla being a petty jerk, stepping on a guy...and then really rubbing it in the survivors' faces by stomping on him a few extra times for good measure. I mean, surely the first stomp got him, right? Those extra three THOOM-ing stomps were purely for show.

After Cruis'n USA, it felt logical for me to go on to Cruis'n World, which I feel is better in almost every way. When you beat "Cruise The World" you get launched to the Moon in a space shuttle. Plus the game actually runs at good frame rate. #retro #retrogaming #nintendo64 #n64 #gaming

Forgotten how many times I’ve 100% this over the years.
Now got the Platinum on PS3, PS4 & PS5 versions. I don’t normally care for them, but it’s always one I’ll go out my way to do for this game.

Cost me $250 but I managed to get one of these for my collection about three months ago. Only problem is this white stain streaking across the disc cover that no amount of cleaning solution will remove. But it works!
