The destruction doesn't make for a photo-op like tearing down the East Wing of the White House or bulldozing the Rose Garden, but it's every bit as bad. Generations of American children learned to spell and count, learned the Preamble to the Constitution, from watching shows produced by the CPB.

As of this year, CalRx insulin pens are now available for just $11 each — and copays for a 20-day supply are capped at $35.

No one should have to choose between paying the bills and receiving life-saving medicine.

The 50501 movement is demanding that Congress block President Trump from continuing military action in Venezuela & to impeach both Trump & Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth for waging an illegal war against the people of Venezuela,
orchestrating a coup, & engaging in an illegal occupation.

That one person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress, or our allies, or fully explaining to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers.

Reminder that Congress has the power to stop all of this. Where the hell are they?

U.S. military spending is set to hit a record $1 trillion.

Roughly half of defense spending goes to private contractors that routinely price-gouge the government.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon has failed EIGHT straight audits.

This is the military industrial complex on steroids.

Phang: If Republican senators and congressmen have an issue with their cell records being obtained by Jack Smith, they should take it up with Trump. Because Trump ordered his co-conspirators, and Trump himself made phone calls to make sure that those election results were not certified…

This is a good idea! Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) said, “If the governor has the ability to issue driver’s licenses to people in California, if you’re going to wear a mask and not identify yourself, you’re not going to be eligible to drive a vehicle in California.”

THIS ISN’T GETTING ENOUGH ATTENTION.

More than 100 immigration judges have been fired nationwide since Trump took office. 21 in San Francisco alone, many without explanation.

Why? Because these judges provided due process under US law.

The Trump admin doesn’t want hearings or fairness.

Illinois has accomplished big things for its people.

We’ve lowered prescription drug costs, achieved the highest recorded high school graduation rate in years, signed landmark transit reform, and balanced budgets.

I look forward to getting even more done in the new year.

Oh look, @marcelias.bsky.social ! Here’s a sneaky new way they’re trying to steal our votes.
USPS quietly changed its postmark rules — mail is no longer dated when you drop it off. The “official” date is when it hits automated sorting — sometimes days later

Which could have major implications for mail in voting — it’s a clever way to disenfranchise voters that’s going largely overlooked

So let’s get this straight:

Trump’s DOJ buried Epstein’s crimes but kept flight logs on Julie K. Brown, the reporter who exposed them. Her 2019 American Airlines booking shows up in the files.

That’s not a data glitch or an oversight.

Across the nation, families are gathering in joy and safety, thanks to those who fought for our freedom.

What did veterans get as a holiday gift from the President? A targeted, dangerous abortion ban, issued quietly overnight. It's unconscionable. This entire administration should be ashamed.
Trump's VA just banned abortion care for veterans—even in cases of rape, incest, or threats to health.

This is cruel, and dangerous.
