I wrote to my MP, Ben Carr, about sex abuse images generated by Grok and also pleaded for the government to move off X. This was his reply.
Thanks so much for being in touch. As a former educator, MP, and uncle to many, I am also deeply concerned with the state of social media platforms as a vehicle for this disgusting and illegal behaviour targeting kids and women in particular. I have a call with META coming up to discuss exactly this on their platforms and will certainly continue to relay to Minister Solomon the need for action and accountability re X. Thanks for reaching out in a thoughtful and respectful way, and with the compassionate lens you're applying to this - I really appreciate it. Ben

There will need to be consultation and accommodation with Indigenous communities to fulfill Ottawa’s constitutional duty. But the Liberal government must make it clear in those talks (and to any obstructionist premier) that the only question to be discussed is how a pipeline will be built.
