Could it all be a distraction from the Epstein files?

I’m not looking the other way. Nobody should. We can focus on all the balls in the air.

Personally I just really love reading.

But I also adore libraries so go to your library this new year. They have all the books, you can request books and they nearly all have a online service for e books these days. #Libraries2026

In less than one year, the US has bombed Iran, Nigeria, and now Venezuela. This is EXACTLY why those Congressional reps made the video reminding service members not to follow illegal orders. CONGRESS MUST ACT. How could the electorate allow this madman back into office? HOW?! Contact your reps!

BREAKING: CBS’ “60 Minutes” abruptly drops a segment about Trump deportees sent to a torture prison in El Salvador — 2 hours before air time.

CBS is now in Fox News territory – COMPLETE GARBAGE.

Brave and faithful soldier. RIP. 🇺🇸
Yesterday, Spc Sarah Becstrom was laid to rest in West Virginia at a VA National Cemetery.
Surprisingly none of the major major news media mention it. No flags were lower to half staff.
Well the Convicted FElon keeps the news focus on him.

The president announced a $12 billion bailout package for farmers who have suffered as a result of his trade policies. So the taxpayers have to pay twice as a result of Trump's asinine tariff policies: once at the checkout line, and again for his handouts to the farmers who his tariffs damaged.

Ken Burns drops some knowledge: "People always complain in our, in our divided, dialectical, preoccupied world that, you know, oh, you're taking away my history. No, we're not. We're just pulling back and we're just saying, there are a lot more people here than you think."

Here in Seattle, furloughed NOAA employees were out in the pouring rain cleaning up beaches yesterday, part of a national week of service organized by federal workers who can't do their jobs due to the shutdown.

We should not just be asking the real price of this ballroom, how it’s really being financed and how Trump could get away with this East Wing demolition and desecration of our history. We should find out whether he’s building an underground bunker and how much he’s stealing for himself.

This is the asymmetry in our politics and media. If this was the other way around, Biden had pardoned someone then charged with trying to kill Trump, it would be the biggest story in America and every Republican commentator, congressman, news outlet, would be screaming about it in unison.

I am completely awestruck by the ease with which Mike Johnson lies on a daily basis. I'll never understand how such a transparently fraudulent "man of faith" can live with themselves. Life is too short to be that phony.
