Okay, the sane thing did happen, at least in the Senate.
Check out 50 U.S. Code § 1706. Trump is basing his tariffs on the emergency declaration, which the House and Senate can nullify with a concurrent resolution. The Senate already did it. The question is whether Johnson will allow a vote on it.

This is so sad. Where is the regulation that would stop this kind of predation?
