I'mma be so real, if Apple just made their computers as customizable and were just as good for gaming as Windows PCs, I'd 100% be a Mac person.
Had a MacBook laptop in high school and college. Loved it. The OS was more fun than Windows ever has been for me.

I grew up on a Mac user because of a photographer dad, but knew my way around PCs regardless, and I cannot stress how much I absolutely hate dealing with Windows in its more recent incarnations in the last fifteen-or-so years. The experience SUCKS! The bloatware, the updates, the new file structure.
