Why aren’t we looking into corporate welfare? In the United States, it costs taxpayers billions each year, with estimates ranging from $92 billion to $100 billion annually. Meanwhile, USAID costs only $40 billion. Hmmm… doesn’t add up.

If you're not religious, good people, you can use positive affirmations!

Put them on little slips of paper around your home. I'm serious. My dresser mirror is a bulletin board for my life: affirmations, Bible verses, 12 step stuff, reminders to pick up my prescriptions.

This, too, is self care. 💜

White people especially, in the media will scream about illegality, congressional approval, etc.

This is not about law. This is about power.

The full weight of America’s raw power has been used to destroy progress around the world.

And now it’s boomeranging back here.

Yes, we're neither shocked or stunned.

The equivalent of that "DEI list" has been happening for more than a decade. "Last hired, first fired" never ended and no one Black has ever been "safe" in the history of this country.
This is a Woodrow WIlson move they're pulling by the way. And yes, I concur, pretty much every Black person I know is not shocked.
A lot of Black people I know saw this coming and have gone quiet / underground for like, a year.

From CRT/DEI, We were being purged from positions, sidelined from jobs, and under this new line of attack for the last 3-4 years at state and local levels.

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

it's been blatantly obvious to anyone with a brain for the last decade that american democracy would die at the hands of the right wing. mainstream media spent millions convincing you that the left was more dangerous than the right.

acknowledging the trump reality now is giving up the game.

Imagine saying this about an agency that has helped millions of people around the world avoid malaria, obtain clean water, and gain access to food & health care. Especially when you’re the world’s richest man & your net worth is something like 20 times this agency’s annual budget. What a foul soul.

I went to my Congressman's local office today. First off, they were surprised that I was there. They said they had been getting phone calls, but I was the first walk-in. That said, the phones were not ringing off the hook. If the DC phone lines are busy, try calling the local office.
