A pleasure to have in class.
Googoosha, the daughter of Uzbekistan's former dictator, decided she was a pop star. She released a few songs and had at least one street-postering campaign in Los Angeles. She went to jail for money laundering. No idea what made me think of her.

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

The only lawless behavior I see in this video is ICE harassing and threatening people for no good reason.

ICE authority is limited by federal law. They exist for immigration enforcement only. They do not have general police powers. (8 U.S.C. § 1357)

This piece is amazing. It's about how easily centrists are hoodwinked and swept along by bad-faith actors on the right, but the author himself doesn't seem to have noticed. He fully believes that modern universities strangle free thought.

I’m seeing posts from people (outside of MN) about how US citizens should carry their passports.

And let me say that *inside* MN, we are calmly responding to requests with: “No, I don’t have to show you any documentation.”

Because that’s how you protect everyone, regardless of immigration status.
