This season isn’t easy for many of us and that deserves compassion, not silence.

May you feel seen, held, and less alone. We see you! You matter! You are not alone!

Sending you peace & calm over the holiday season 🎄🫂🎄

It was such a joy to celebrate Hanukkah with Mandy, Kathryn and their son, Gideon. As Jewish New Yorkers across our city prepare to light candles and mark the seventh night today, I wish you and your families a Hanukkah full of light and love.

Affordable Care Act subsidies are about to expire leaving millions unable to afford health insurance.

This is an excellent time to start wearing a mask.

Keeping yourself and your community healthy is an act of resistance.

Millions of people literally can’t afford to get sick.

COVID, flu, and RSV spread most easily this time of year, especially when we’re gathering indoors. Simple steps like improving indoor air quality, wearing a high-quality mask when needed, testing before gatherings, and staying home when sick can meaningfully reduce risk without taking away (...)

Fresh air is not a lifestyle preference or a comfort feature. It is one of the most effective public-health interventions we have. A century ago, this was already understood. Today, we continue to ignore it, even as COVID and Long COVID persist.

If you are a Gen X kid, Rob Reiner has been a part of your life since... pretty much birth. Always guiding you to do the right thing. To love the right way. To be a good friend. Always with a concious.

He was our little Jiminy Cricket on our shoulder the whole time and we didn't even know it.

Rob Reiner had a hand in writing, producing, directing, knowing a guy, pairing up talents, punching up a script on the down low, doing a cameo for like so much of the funniest shit coming out of Hollywood the last 50 years. His influence is seen everywhere

Flipping through what I have and saw Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip sitting there. Popped on that first episode and despite my having watched it three previous times, it still hits every single moment with me.

I love this show.
I adore this cast.

We were robbed only getting one season.

Everyone is talking about how bad the flu is.

Media & healthcare facilities are pleading with people to get their flu shot.

To stay home when sick.

To wash their hands.

Very few are recommending masks. When we had mask mandates we eliminated an entire flu strain.

Mask up!

Long COVID in children is real, common, and still widely misunderstood. New pediatric studies show that kids and teens can experience lasting effects after infection, and reinfections significantly increase the risks.

Long COVID isn’t a fringe issue, it’s one of the most common chronic conditions in the U.S., yet treated like an afterthought. Symptoms vary, onset is delayed, and stigma keeps people quiet. The result? Millions suffering with little recognition or support.

Good morning 🌞

Today is the day.

The day you throw off the shackles of doubt and fear.

The day you show, not the world, but yourself just how amazing you are.

No more self doubt.

You are the shining star we need in the world.

Shine on.

I was diagnosed with #HIV in 1998, when I was 30.
Many of my friends had died of AIDS. I did not expect to live to 50.
I’m 58 now.
HIV treatment works.
Treatment also makes it impossible for me to pass HIV on during sex.
Ensure HIV treatment for all.
End HIV stigma.
