Alex Pretti was a 37-year-old ICU nurse who, like many, wanted to protest what was happening in Minneapolis and across the United States with ICE. Minneapolis resident Mac Randolph said Alex comforted his dying father, an Air Force veteran, with dignity and care.

NEW: In sealed proceedings yesterday, DOJ put intense pressure on federal judges in Minnesota to authorize the arrest of Don Lemon and others — until they were brushed back by an appeals court last night.

But even more notable...

Absolutely despicable.
There seemingly is no limit to the depths of depravity the administration will go to cover for their propaganda machine.

We need to arrest and prosecute the federal agent that murdered Renee Nicole Good. And we need trials for those involved.

Powerful tribute to Renee Good. Artist Noval Noir painted a live portrait of her to honor her life at the memorial in Minneapolis. Art speaks when words fall short. We must continue to tell her story and Say Her Name.

A WILD ONE: A man broke his leg during an arrest by ICE at a car wash south of L.A.

ICE has held him under 24/7 guard at a hospital, registering him under a pseudonym, for *37 days* without telling him why.

A judge has ordered his immediate release.

There is still hope to save irreplaceable coral ecosystems, but time is running out. Baby corals can ride ocean currents for hundreds of miles, but they can’t outrun climate change. And humans have a limited capacity to make new reefs in cooler waters.

Coral reefs face an uncertain recovery from the 4th global mass bleaching event – can climate refuges help?
As baby corals float in the currents, they can expand their species’ range. But can they get to climate refuges fast enough to survive? A new study has good news and bad.
