I am looking for congressional leaders to come out quickly and forcefully against this. We need unequivocal opposition. We need theatric demonstrations of defiance. We need to see leadership. Trump will steamroll us all if we display weakness. Where are our leaders?
An act of war weeks in planning but unauthorized by Congress against a country that Trump's own director of intelligence testified under oath was not close to getting a nuclear weapon.

The only reason why Romney was able to show courage (and let's face it: not much) is because he has the cash to cover the $5,000 per DAY that he spends on security against maga lunatics. Most republicans don't have those funds. So we pay for their cowardice. And holy hell, it's expensive.

If we want to save some more taxpayer money, the government could freeze payments to SpaceX. Last year, it spent more than 400 times as many taxpayer dollars on SpaceX services than it did on Politico Pro subscriptions. Surely we don't need to be paying for a *second* space program.

I moved to Europe in 2020 (for family reasons). There are several things Europeans need to know about what happened.
1) It happened bc of US' dysfunctional media ecosystem (Fox propaganda + disinformation + woefully irresponsible mainstream media).
2) It is part of a transnational plan for fascism.
