"After d'Entremont's musings over a possible defection were reported by Politico... the MP says CPC House leader Andrew Scheer and party whip Chris Warkentin 'barged' into his office, pushed open the door — almost knocking down his assistant — and yelled at him about 'how much of a snake' he was"

Very similar to how Big Tech frames its argument about "AI":

the memo 'hinges on an :inarguably a false binary” between a world where everything is fine and “literally the end of the world”, said Daniel Swain, a climate scientist."

Binary thinking indeed--not how the world works.

Public officeholders in Canada serve diverse communities

Any statement from a politician challenging mainstream Canadian values like diversity and multiculturalism should be highly concerning to the public

Canadians have a right to know about the views and values of those seeking public office

don't just primary the democrats scared of mamdani - gather en masse at their doorsteps - they are scared they aren't actually better than anyone else and its true they aren't and it's ya'll who wield that power
How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

Did you know that in Canada, if a budget doesn’t pass the government doesn’t shut down?

Federal workers aren’t furloughed.

Funding for social services doesn’t dry up.

Failure to pass a budget triggers an election.

It puts the politicians jobs on the line.

They get the budget passed.
