Americans, always quick to insert themselves into other nations' politics, sometimes for good, now watch passively in the face of a slow motion coup in US itself? Millions have marched and protested, sure, but to what end? Reluctance to take the only step that would count? The window is closing.

I feel a sense of betrayal @mark-carney.bsky.social Fossil award

The perception of Canada has soured as news about fossil fuel subsidies, an LNG project, a gas pipeline and even reports about a new bitumen pipeline all landed during the climate negotiations. www.nationalobserver.com/2025/11/24/o...

How do you get to be a senator when you are this stupid? There are no "NATO dues", so there's no one to pay anything to. The 2% was always a non-binding aspirational guideline. There is no pool of NATO funds everyone pays into - it is all domestic spending - so who would you "pay" it to? #cdnpoli

Who should get water - a human or a machine? The answer, we're told, is a machine. Across water-scarce regions, data centers run cool while real people go thirsty. This isn’t a future dystopia, this is the world today. The very element that sustains life is being siphoned to sustain code. (1/3)

Considering the demand is decreasing, this is not only climate stupid, but an economic loser. Japan is Canada's largest LNG importer. From 2022 - 2023, LNG demand dropped 8%. It is estimated that the demand between 2022 - 2030 will fall to 32%
