Governments can't spend money on schools, health care, social support, because of 'communism', but companies can lose that sort of money on shit nobody wants, and that's ok.
Mark Zuckerberg’s gamble on the "Metaverse" has lost his company more than $77 billion.

Well, on the news tonight they were actually showing some of those measures quite openly.

Also, this could explain why there were some mlitary planes zooming above us tonight, with no lights on (yes, I do live relatively near that base).

We'll, knowing THIS government, they'll just kick them out.

'But wait, wasn't there some cool moon out last night?', I hear you ask.
Yes, there was. And all I've got to show for it is this rather crappy photo.

Not from the right-wingers, I would really rather not.
Personally, I’d rather see a PornHub wrapped from everyone each year.

Things I didn't expect in 2025? A band from 30 years ago getting angry about stuff from 25 years ago.

Why not just make it possible for people to live their lives the way they live it? feed all the kids at school a hot nutritious lunch even if their daddy rich and their momma good looking. Let everybody go to the doctor free at point of use because wealth taxes cover it. budget so the bus is free.

the way I am NOT GOING TO GET MAD if I check into a hotel room that has a roll-in shower even though I don't need a roll in shower, or braille on the permanent room signs even though I don't need braille, or a space between the beds for a service dog even though I don't have a service dog--JEEPERS.

I lost a dear friend and colleague this year, Sue.
She was a wonderful human, a real force of nature. She was my “work mum” & she used to pick leaves out of my hair and look after me 🥲

I am helping to raise money for The Christie Charity, who looked after Sue💘

The official publication date is still next Tuesday, but there’s a good explanation for the ebook being out earlier, which I’ve now forgotten. Anyway, it’s e-available now.

I can totally see how being Jonathan Gullis can be challenging. Take breathing and walking at the same time, for example...
🚨Some personal news.

I'm thrilled to announce that I've just filed my first copy for The New Yorker.

A profile of Jonathan Gullis.

"You get the sense that offstage, Jonathan Gullis struggles with being Jonathan Gullis."
