This is a very flat campaign message. Dislike of Goldman is not going to be so strong due to his lack of opposition of Trump; it’ll be due to his donors and support of Israel.

Lander should still win, but this style of campaigning can blow it.
I'm ready to be the type of Democrat the Democratic Party has needed this entire time. The type of Democrat who will fight Trump’s authoritarianism by showing up, not with strongly worded letters.

The type of Democrat who will fight, not fold.

One good thing about me is that my brain works and I don't fall for Orwellian, propaganda nonsense like this.

The Israelis are breaking the ceasefire and NBC News is actively running interference to support the Israeli government (as are most other American corporate media outlets).

Using ChatGPT for all her email correspondence with her staff won’t keep her from getting more and more annoyed with having a real job and with people who are going to happily leak shit she’s doing there.
Bari Weiss just sent this Christmas Eve email to the CBS News staff about "building trust," which includes her tripling down on spiking the CECOT piece "to make sure it's comprehensive and fair."

One CBS staffer tells me: "She really has no idea how insulting she comes across."

New: Months before Bari Weiss pulled the 60 Minutes segment on CECOT, her outlet The Free Press was joking about the megaprison Trump has lawlessly deported people to.

Bari Weiss got the poet Refaat Alareer killed in Gaza by putting a target on his back.

I have no doubt she’s collaborated with Netanyahu & Trump. She’s obscuring the crimes of the authoritarian Bukele in El Salvador.

She needs to be put behind bars, not a newsroom.

I watched the first third elsewhere. Anyone claiming this is not a newsworthy doesn’t deserve to work in a news company on any level.

Weiss is a disgusting and vile individual. Leni Riefenstahl of today. She should be in The Hague.
60 minutes CECOT segment. Recorded through my browser. HD quality. Not phone. Spread it around. If you're press, it's yours. Go nuts.

It's streaming on a Canadian website, but there is no telling for how long.

In 2022, Bari Weiss ran this viral first-person piece by a top Levi’s executive. She claimed she was hounded out of the company because of her vocal stance on COVID restrictions.

There are no quotes from the company. Or her colleagues.

Not even a “no comment.”

I think it’s pretty likely Bari Weiss quits far sooner than anyone expects because if there’s anything we learned from her tenure at the New York Times it’s that this lady hates working, absolutely despises it, and she probably had to send like four emails today

I think Weiss ends up leaving this position relatively quick. Not because she’ll be forced out, no no, but more because she’s a lazy dumb dumb who can’t miss the opportunity to talk about how she was cancelled at CBS.
CBS News EIC Bari Weiss had concerns about the CECOT piece, I’m told. The network decided to hold the segment pending, among other things, comment or an interview with White House officials next year…

I wonder how she's feeling about her political career. She sold out everything she once valued, debased herself, placed herself on the side of evil, all in a crude grasp at power, and in return, she got shunted to the side & forgotten. Pathetic, richly deserved, but also, wooooof.

A chant that’s directed at a country’s brutal 80 years occupation, but let’s try a different tact.

If any other ethnic or religious group were saying “please stop this country from ethnically cleansing us from our land & committing a genocide against us” would you go out of your way to smear them?
I'll say it again: if any other ethnic or religious minority said "please don't use this particular term or chant, you might not have bad intentions but it is deeply racist and threatening to us", the reaction would be mortified apology.

And that's without a mass terror event four days ago

My take on NY-10 is Lander will probably win, but Aviles would have ran a much better campaign and probably also would have won. I feel like the “Mr. Roger’s“ campaign is a misread and not a sharp contrast, but he’s well liked so he should be fine.

Just to clear some things up about this person:

✅ she has called just about every election in the last ~20 years fraudulent
✅ is supportive of Trump & his murders off the coast of Venezuela
✅ supports Israel’s genocide in Gaza
